 I still love this Master Bathroom! While this is an older project it is still one of my favorites. I love the travertine planks and the wonderful soaking tub.

Home Sweet home

Several of my buddies wanted me to post the recent updates we have made to our home. Our house was built around 1950 and while I love the charm of an older home I sometimes wish for a brand spanking new home that wouldn't require as much maintenance(by the way our house is not for sale, this is just an old pic)...

I am continually changing things and driving my husband crazy!! Our latest projects include changing the floors in the kitchen from wood to travertine,painting the kitchen walls,painting the spare bedroom walls, and re-decorating the spare bedroom!! Of course, there are many finishing touches to be made. I still need drapes and other odds and ends to feel more complete.

Beach Bound!!!

Brent and I are beach bound this afternoon!!! I cannot wait! I am craving the sunshine and the sound of the ocean splashing against the shoreline. I am going to read my new book by James Patterson(Sunday's At Tiffany's),soak up the sunshine,and sleep in. I will post pictures when I get home. Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Blogging Newbie

Thanks to my buddies, Andrea and Michelle, for peaking my interest in the blogging world. This should prove to be an interesting forum for discussing all the crazy antics that surround me daily. Brent and I have been married almost five years!!We have four furry pets that are like our children. We have two Golden Retrievers,Boozer (boy -age 10) and Bailey (girl- age 6). Then I rescued a stray black kitten from my Papa's house. He only has one good eye,his name is Popeye,he is 3 years old and he thinks he is a dog.And then.......(drum roll please) last June Brent bought me an English Springer Spaniel. We named him Morgan. He is definitely the baby. He is all boy,mischievous,wild,cute,and cuddly!!! He is just a MESS!!! Oh,I forgot about me. I am an Interior Decorator by trade,which I love!! If I can create something unique or make someone feel better about the space that surrounds them....well, then that makes me a happy girl! I love singing in the shower and am an expert at driving my husband nuts!! Enjoy the blog and feel free to comment!
